August 8 Meeting
he USILA and the COC met at the offices of the U.S. Lacrosse in Baltimore on August 8, 2002. By agreement of the parties, Phil Buttafuoco, Commissioner of the ECAC, presided over that meeting.
As a result of that conference, all parties agreed that Buttafuoco would present a model setting forth the basis for the provision of the officiating services by the COC to USILA schools for 2003, which he did on August 20, 2002.
ECAC Model
Buttafucoco’s model essentially provides, according to an email sent to all COC referees, the following six points:
