Offensive Stalling

nlike counts, which officials will use in every game, stalling might occur in a handful of games. In fact, lower level referees likely won’t have to concern themselves with the stall. The reason? Many lower caliber teams cannot maintain possession long enough warrant a stall warning (NCAA rule 6-8 11.a).

Signal 1: Arms Folded

If an official suspects a team is stalling, he should cross his arms. This mechanic is primarily for the other official(s).
